Blimey, has nobody put the kettle on yet?
I know Jo won't be put of her pit as it's only just noon, but thought one of the more 'normal' tea folk would have been in
I am busy bike fettling, and have stopped for a quick one :cuppa:

If I concur, do I get some too? :hungry:

:cuppa: here too. Just walked the dog to the village to get ham, lettuce and cucumber (links for Potsy's benefit :giggle:) for tomorrow's sandwiches. Now just got to hope that the bread turns out ok...

We've been very busy today.

Cutting up a car! I'll let NT provide the photographic proof....

Time for :cuppa: now.
Yup, one car cut up.

It was an MR2, perfect body, no rust and much in demand, except no one actually wanted to pay any money for it so it is now cut up for scrap.

Before:

We had spent some time in previous weeks removing all the recycleable stuff from inside so today, after removing the last of the loom and the glass we took the roof off.

Then we lowered the floor a little.

Proof that the sills were pretty much rust free.

BTW, while we were outside we heard a lengthy burst of what sounded quite a lot like a night in 1980's Beruit, coming vaguely from the Trafford Park area.

Potsy, did someone try to take your Jaffanips?
It sounded like fireworks, but in daylight and not organised, as if someone set fire to a fireworks factory or an arsenal. It went on for quite a while, probably tens of thousands of pounds of fireworks set off in one big hit.
