BTW, while we were outside we heard a lengthy burst of what sounded quite a lot like a night in 1980's Beruit, coming vaguely from the Trafford Park area.

I have been to a party this afternoon, and returned home with lots of cakey items. However those yummy cakey items are not for consumption by peeps who call me a daft wol. There is two large portions of lime cheesecake, one large scone with jam and cream*, and half a Victoria sponge with fresh cream and strawberries. I was helping to clear up after the party, and somehow received all these edible goodies.

There was four scones, but two were given to my next door neighbour, and one was attacked by Leo while I was talking to the neighbour.

That looks very much like a cat I met this afternoon. His name is Picard, after Captain Picard in Star Trek. He would get on well with Tasha who is named after Tasha Yar from Star Trek. Picard had a lot to say and wanted to know why I was in his garden, and when I was going to feed him.

I am also celebrating my Fantasy Cycling Team doing well. I am now 9th out of 24 in the league after climbing slowly from 22nd out of 24. I only put Cavendish in my team for one stage. Then replaced him with Goss. Tomorrow is another tough day in the mountains for the riders, and an equally tough day for me on the sofa watching the climbing. We all have a rest day on Monday.
