Now let me see ...

Given that I have already reduced the intake a bit, it would be a shame to increase it again just to knock myself out! I'll just have to cycle more so I'm tired enough to sleep without it ...

:bravo:
Now I have my new CC friends to ride out with on Saturdays my mileage is steadily climbing again

I rode with Shaun on Sunday and will probably be doing another one next week if the weather is okay.

I noticed your stats were on the move when I updated my MCL account today. I'm still 3 miles short of 1,000 miles which is a bit low when you consider that I used to do 750 miles in just 2 weeks in Spain every March!

The Tale of Arch's dinner.

1. Get reused Stork tub of pasta sauce out of freezer in morning, to have for dinner.
2. Work.
3. Shop, buying some reduced garden peas, to add to pasta sauce.
4. Get home.
5. Put pan of water on for pasta.
6. Get defrosted tub out of fridge, and open.
7. Sigh.
8. Cook rice instead, to go with defrosted portion of curry sauce...

Still nice though, and the peas were a good addition. I have a load left for tomorrow, when I think I will have them with a pie and mash.

Rain is coming down by the bucket bathtub full at the moment. I am sure I just heard thunder!

I have the windows open to air the house as the flies won't be airbourne in the rain.

I got soaked last night on the way home from the pub :rain: though the stunningly delicious chicken and chorizo with noodles extravaganza (even better as it was 2 for a tenner) kept me going all the way home. :bicycle:

Couldn't sleep: eventually drifted off and woke up at 6 to sunshine. Had a :cuppa:, slept again, woke up at 8, still sunshine ... woke up at 10 to grey skies and just as I got in the bath, the heavens opened. :rain:

I'll never forget the day I took the margarine tub of leftover something-or-other to reheat at work and spent the morning looking forward to my most tasty lunch. Imagine the look on my face when I opened said tub and discovered that it was, in fact, a tub of margarine...

Well, had a very good evening with Tdr1nka last night. We rode past the Gherkin, the nearly-finished Shard and Tower Bridge, then retired to a hostelry for rehydration
Could have done without the cobbles though :hyper:

It is like a jungle here today. I am very very :heat: (and not because I have seen any knees or legs, except my own), there is no breeze at all, which is very unusual. The sky is that uniform sort of yukky pale grey colour.

It was like that here yesterday, I took the afternoon off and did 46 miles on my bike :bicycle: there was no breeze at all and it was very hot  but not much sunshine.
Today however it is like a monsoon, I went into town and there was a downpour that left me paddling through puddles deeper than my shoes :rain:
