I got soaked last night on the way home from the pub :rain: though the stunningly delicious chicken and chorizo with noodles extravaganza (even better as it was 2 for a tenner) kept me going all the way home.

Soaked = :laugh:
2 for a tenner = Fat pig :mrpig:

Fully refreshed now, the parts have arrived for operation bike repair, lets see if I know what I'm doing :scratch:
But first :cuppa:

It is looking more like a bike now, has a rear mech and some pedals again, also the gears are indexing OK without me putting the new cables on so have left it for now.
Will put the tyres on tomorrow, and give it a test ride at weekend I think. :thumbsup:

Found something for the tea room, should keep out undesireables like CJ and Phil :whistle:

:cuppa: sounds good, cheers Jo.

Still raining heavily here. I reckon it will be raining tomorrow when we take the car out for its MOT test too.
Good thing is having windows open again, and a bit of a breeze this time.:thumbsup:

The only part of me that was dry this morning were my feet, all hail the Gore-tex boots :thumbsup:
Everything else was a wee bit soggy :rain:

Have slept a bit longer than planned, might only be able to squeeze 2 meals in before work, instead of the usual 3 :hungry:
