Pain killers kicking in now. :heat:

I was just getting up to a sitting position on the edge of the sofa to remove the boot and managed to bang the exposed top end of my calf muscle on the edge of the sofa seat cushion. I wouldn't have though that would have hurt so much.

:hugs:

Bit of an extreme way to beat the chocolate craving though....

I really should get an early night. Feel a bit headachey.

Night all! :hello:

So how many men does it take to mow some grass?

The local council finally came round to cut the grass opposite my house. I was going to phone them today to chase it up.
There were two big vans, one towing a trailer which carried a push mower and a ride on mower.
Two blokes stood and watched a (12 year old?) lad driving the ride on round and round and round and round....
When the lad reached the tree in the middle he drove back to the trailer despite missing loads of patches of tall grass.

One of the blokes then took a BSO double sus MTB for a ride about and then put it in the back of one of the vans, no idea where that came from.
:bicycle:
Then the bike riding bloke and the lad went off in the van.

The other bloke then mowed the whole area again in a different pattern to catch all the missed bits before loading up and heading off. I felt sorry for him as it looked like he had to do a bit of 'Youth training' and the rain started and hammered down for the whole time he was on the mower doing the job right. :rain:
The rain stopped the moment he finished!^_^

The place looks tidy again, just in time for the dog emptying people to ruin it.

:cuppa: That was my entertainment for the early afternoon.^_^

Interesting that they normally have two big 3 gang cylinder mowers like this, going around.

Today it was just one of these.

Must be because of training the 12 year old.:giggle:

Just had some shredded wheat to stave off the chocolate craving. Yet to be convinced by that strategy.
If you'd asked earlier I would have told you that plan was doomed to failure

I got given a couple of those Weetabix cereal bar thingies last night, there is the merest hint of chocolate on those, just enough to taste but not enough to actually stave off any cravings.

Much better sleep today, yesterday wasn't good, very tired all shift :tired:
