Anyone have an idea for a recently implemented project that caused issues with local residents and organisations. Need a local and national one so I can compare. I really can't think of anything off the top of my head.

The rain has eased now, there is even a slight chance it has blown over and I wil stay dry on the commute
Will be taking clothing for a monsoon just in case, wish me luck :hello:

Well, I got here. Funny how isolated one feels without a mobile! Normally, I'd text NT about three times to keep him updated...

Got a bit wet today. I think working in the rain goes through stages, like grief. There's irritation, humour, anger, resignation, hysteria and trench foot.

Still, I'm enjoying a :cuppa: now...

We watched a thing the other day about the the transport and erection of the Angel of the North. Not all that recent, but there were residents who didn't like it, thought it would spoil their views. I don't know if they changed their minds - I know it's generally liked now....

There's blue sky! Some clouds, but definite blue sky in between them. After yesterday, it's like a miracle.

Hopefully NT and I can get out for a trundle into town before it rains again, just for some fresh air (for him, I got plenty of fresh air yesterday, almost drowned in it!)

Ding-Ding Arch!!!!

Saw the Ukulele Orchestra last night, excellent entertainment and the best version of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' ever. Perhaps NT might get you tickets for the Salford Quays show
