There's blue sky! Some clouds, but definite blue sky in between them. After yesterday, it's like a miracle.
That was a shock when I woke up at noon
Second shock was thinking I had no milk for my tea, luckily there was enough for 1 cup, will have to nip to Aldi for some, whilst somehow ignoring the goodies

 NT,when are your legs gonna heal completely:huh:
I have three to four more weeks in the boot and then physiotherapy to get movement back. Could be well into late autumn before I am close to fully mobile though possibly even next year before I am up to full strength looking at the level of muscle wastage.

Ding-Ding Arch!!!!

Saw the Ukulele Orchestra last night, excellent entertainment and the best version of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' ever. Perhaps NT might get you tickets for the Salford Quays show

One day, I'll get round to seeing them! They play York once a year, but it's always a weekend I'm away, or I remember too late they've sold out...

I love musicians who subvert expected styles like that. Bill Bailey is another.... His Kraftwerk HokeyCokey is brilliant!

At least Arch is gonna bake a few cakes for you:whistle:

In a twist of fate though, at the end of August, I'm taking him camping... In a garden admittedly, but it is a terraced garden up the side of a steep hill! It might be kill or cure....

I'm not sure if you'll get the cultural reference if I say "Last of the Summer Wine"?;)

Fortunately the garden is terraced with steps, so he'll hopefully manage with crutches. If we have to wheel him down into town, I'll let my sister do it, she's had a lot of practise with prams!

But we hope he'll be more mobile on crutches by then.
