Sorry, not very good at Cultural Refereces:blush:

No need to apologise, it's a very British thing:

It started out as a more gentle character sitcom, but in later years tended to feature more slapstick comedy, often ending in one or more characters careering down a hillside in some wheeled vehicle, either real (like a motorbike and sidecar) or made up ones (like a bath on wheels). As the characters are all old people, it seemed even dafter....

Got it,"Mind Your Language":rofl:It is hilarious
That's it, just about remember it, must have seen the repeats

Was quite funny for it's time, I imagine it hasn't aged well though.

Saying that, I still sometimes find myself watching old comedy shows on UK Gold, One foot in the Grave, Steptoe & Son, etc, much better than some of the new dross.

I could watch The Good Life any day. Dad's Army is also timeless (partly down to being a period piece anyway).

Also, apart from some of the fashions, The Two Ronnies and Morecambe and Wise never age.

Dad's Army and LoTSW were 2 shows I avoided like the plague, always thought they were 'old peoples' comedies
Will happily watch Porridge, Open all Hours, and Keeping up appearances  all day though.

We amazingly still have blue sky, am planning a ride on the trail tomorrow, think it might be a bit soggy for a few days though.
