In other news, N+1 (for rather large values of 1)

It's a Cadillac BLS - essentially a Saab 9-3 with a less tasteful body.
Built in Sweden, 4 years old, 1.9 turbodiesel, 40000 miles, £5500.
When new, it was a £23 000 car!!

Well, I would have thought that having a boot bigger then a Brompton would be the first thing to check!

Oh, the Brommie will be no bother. It's something bigger that concerns me.
Still, I don't put a bike in the car all that often, and I have a rack anyhow.
