Hello again! :hello:

I have done a little welding, albeit in polypropylene.

I think the water leak into the car is due to a 'gutter/water diverter' that was attached to the underside of the plastic cover over at the bottom of the windscreen.

Attempts to glue it have proved fruitless as Araldite wouldn't stick, some black mastic sealant wouldn't cure and some white mastic sealant wouldn't cure (the mastic might be overly old stock and dodgy).

After a bit of research and pondering I set to and welded it with a gas soldering iron.
I drilled some holes in the flange to spot weld it first and then seam welded the edge.

I was careful not to overheat it to avoid melting through to the visible side. I did this by keeping a finger on the other side feeling for the heat. If I got too warm I stopped to let it cool.

Time for :cuppa: and a long (hopefully) wait for a day or two of rain:rain: to see if the carpet gets wet again.

Neat job NT! I hope it holds!

Just back, after a detour on the way home from the station to drop something off at a friend's house. I may have accidentally bought a couple of cream doughnuts in Sainsburys.

Oh yes, excellent Rocky! ^_^

However, I think that is a bicycle on a bird!

I have been :training:!

I have been walking, without sticks, back and forth in my kitchen. Not easy and very hard work but I managed to sort out and carry a large mug of :cuppa: and a plate, with a wedge of cheese and three mini Scotch eggs on, back to the sofa earlier on.:hungry:

After a rest I decided to try a bit more and climbed the ladder up to my bed!
That was successful so long as I did it slowly and carefully.

I then decided to make the bed and pack away the bedding on the sofa.

I shall sleep on my bed tonight.:wahhey:

If you don't hear from me in the morning then that probably means I am stuck up there (In need of a bottle please, nurse!).

I am hoping that getting my living space back to normal will help me get more active and feel happier.

I'm trying to write a reflective assignment on the group presentation I did back in March. I have to give feedback for each member of the group, strengths/ weaknesses and justified by theory such as Belbin or Mcgregor management theory. Have also got to make brief and constructive recommendations to assist further development.

Problem I have is, I only met up with the group four times. We all worked on the assignment individually. My Mum got sick and died so was not around to do brainstorming sessions.

I spent time over the weekend half writing the assignment to be told that I am being to descriptive.

I'm really frustrated as I keep running into these difficulties, it's really knocking my confidence to the extent that I feel stupid and worthless, because I can't do what should be a simple straight forward assignment.

Please someone tell me what is wrong with me, what am I doing wrong?

Oh dear! I don't think I can help much. That all sounds horribly like 'theory' to me, and therefore not my strong point.

If you weren't there to analyse the group members, it's hard to see how you can write them up...
