No it's not i am in otley having driven here over askwith Moor and all the roads are under water and I was down to 30mph at one point couldn't even see the road.

The rain reached York just before 6 this evening, Arch said. She was cooking stir fry noodles and fishcake! I don't know if she wanted to share that with the world but as she usually does....

Sitting at Heathrow - it's a bit grey overhead but not too bad. The first leg of our journey stops at Hong Kong - there's thunder storms forecast. Is Hong Kong near Manchester? No tea but lots of coffee on sale grrrrrrrrrr

Well it was a bit rainy so I drove over to otley to see Lizzie Armitstead's homecoming parade and it stopped raining just as it started which was lucky I have put some pics on my facebook page if anyone wants to have a shufty -> CLICK ME

I am back in my own home now, after a week twenty-four hours at my Mother's house. She was feeling very ill with high blood pressure yesterday, so I had to go and be a Nurse for a short time.

Shall I put this diplomatically? I am soooooooo pleased to be back in this very quiet part of quiet Westershire of England.

I am going to have my hair cut this afternoon.
Arch had hers cut on Monday. The cut was a bit rough apparently, the hair dresser was in a foul mood as her son had been inviting local 'yoofs' into the health spa upstairs.

She is well enough to be on her own again. I know that she has at least two visitors expected today. She has lovely neighbours who do shopping for her, and she is capable of cooking small meals for herself.

Today will be mostly a quiet day.

I have lost my HND certificates that say I am a cabinet maker.
I have searched all the likely places for them and have emailed the University to ask if copies are available.
