It was surprisingly heavy, sideways and sudden. Wouldn't have been nice to be out in it, even in a car.

No it's not i am in otley having driven here over askwith Moor and all the roads are under water and I was down to 30mph at one point couldn't even see the road.

The rain reached York just before 6 this evening, Arch said. She was cooking stir fry noodles and fishcake! I don't know if she wanted to share that with the world but as she usually does....:whistle:

I am going to have my hair cut this afternoon.
Arch had hers cut on Monday. The cut was a bit rough apparently, the hair dresser was in a foul mood as her son had been inviting local 'yoofs' into the health spa upstairs.

I hope the glasses are good, a bit of a long way to take them back!:giggle:

I have lost my HND certificates that say I am a cabinet maker.:sad:
I have searched all the likely places for them and have emailed the University to ask if copies are available.
