One of the guys exhibiting his steam car at a show recently apparently had this conversation:

Visitor: Where does the coal go?
Owner: It runs on oil, we mostly use diesel.
Visitor: I didn't think they made diesel cars that long ago?
Owner: It's not diesel engined it's a steam car.
Visitor: Oh, where does the coal go?

I had a link to his version of it (he tells it better) but I can't find it at the moment.

Well, it's another wet and miserable day in Manchester, the cats still think it's summer though as they are refusing to come inside.
Gave them a new shelter earlier and they seem to like it, don't know how long it will last though

I am tootling off this afternoon, if it does not to the Plum Fayre. There will be a Farmer's Market, (amongst other things) but I do not expect to find a good-looking farmer.
