Could they have written 'Hong Kong' any more times? :giggle:

We're having a rest. We all walked into town this morning, for coffee and cake:hungry: , and then we walked home, only sis and the boys went ahead, and NT and I took it easy and had a lunch stop along the way because of his poorly feet:B) . NT was very determined, and walked all the way home, which is about 90% uphill! As soon as we got home, he had a sit down, and I did what I promised Oli I would do, which was make chocolate rice krispie buns with him:hyper: . They are chilling now, as are NT and I, while sis takes the boys to Sainsburys... ;)

It was really painful, and painfully slow going, especially all the slopey bits and the adverse camber bits of pavement and ramps at junctions.
I had to change the length of my sticks to match the hills at one point.

Anyway I managed it and can rest now!

Arch - would you like to know how to make a bird of paradise from a plastic milk bottle?

Yesterday, at the Pump House I was, amongst other things: asked to taste test some Bakewell tart, that they are thinking of selling. It was very nice, but just one problem, it would have been so much easier to decide how nice it was, if they had given me a larger piece.

I also received a demonstration of how to make the birds of paradise. ^_^

That sounds cool! They could go with the milk bottle elephants Rhythm Thief showed me how to make!

The cake probably won't be very nice anyway, it's guaranteed to end up a bit burnt due to the number of candles on it...
