:rolleyes:

I had the world's best coffee and walnut cake today at The Bog Visitor Centre near the Stipperstones. Well worth a visit - not just for the cake but the views as well.

From tonight's menu:

"The recipe is modern explosive flavours it will change your perception of our food so that you will contemplate eating".
:unsure:

I would hope so!

Also, more cryptically,

"Village frustration echo from around the world race the recipe is modern with explosive flavours"
:wacko:

Great food though! :hungry:

Anyway, time for bed, work tomorrow.

Night all! :hello:

<A little rant at my other forum:>

Get your spambot software in place! Just because I manually deal with it all doesn't mean you can ignore the forum protection and leave me to it!
I have a life, I don't enjoy signing in anymore and dealing with the spam cr@p just because you can't get your job in perspective enough to sort it out! I am becoming a non-member on the forum and just a bit of free organic anti-spam firmware keeping your little empire running smoothly.
90 minutes of my life wasted removing spam that should not have got past even the simplest protection does not make me happy.

If I went on strike you, and the forum members, would really notice, just as you did when I was on holiday last week!

GET IT FIXED!:cursing::cursing::cursing:

<Rant over.>

:cuppa: then a trip to my GP to see about my gout.:thumbsup:

aaaahhh - I've just seen that you are from Adelaide. We were there for a week (last week) and left on Saturday. I loved it -my daily routine involved walking from our hotel, on North Terrace to the swimming pool near O'Connell, doing a mile and then taking a very leisurely stroll back via several coffee shops. My wife was at a conference in the Convention Centre.

I'm glad that you liked Adelaide Rocky.

:hello: Is the kettle on? Despite their proximity in the alphabet, Somerset and Shropshire aren't especially close to one another. And motorways are very boring.

Here's an idea.
We should rearrange the counties in alphabetical order or rename them so that they are in alphabetical order.
I see a great April Fools' Day announcement regarding the new EU naming regulations.

Or re"name" them after the OS map numbers. :tongue:

Anyone want a :cuppa:? I've just had a long wallow in the bath. After three days of walking up the Malvern Hills, Long Mynd and the Stipperstones, my muscles are letting themselves be heard loud and clear. It turns out that the muscles you use for walking are not the same as the ones you use for cycling. :unsure:

Since I was last on here I was admiitted to hospital on Friday with suspected blood poisoning after a day vomiting, which they then decided was appendicitis and took me down to surgery at 4pm on Saturday. Back on the ward at 9pm and discharged at 1pm on Sunday!!! The surgeon came to see me to tell me my appendix had been tagged to my large intestine by a fat tag which has probably been there for years but had contracted during weight loss causing it to start to tear... luckily it didn't rip or things would have got very serious very fast.... So, dieting isn't always a good thing, though I went in at 91kgs and now weigh 87kg!

Spent the time since in bed feeling wobbly but up today with a sore abdomen.... The RVI in Newcastle id fantastic and I love them to bits! Mrs A+T's been a star.

After three days of walking up the Malvern Hills,
Did you get to see the Morgan car factory in Malvern Link?
It is a great place to see how their cars are hand made.:thumbsup:

I am back form the GP with an appointment for a blood test next week to see if I have gout. I walked there. Maybe I shouldn't have done. I managed 0.4 mile in 20 minutes with numerous stops to get there and it took 25 minutes to get back. Rest of the afternoon with my feet up waiting for the pain to subside.

In the meantime I am trying to post and watch Richard Hammond's Crash Course on TV. It is really annoying as they keep flashing up text boxes with facts so I have to keep rewinding to read them.

:cuppa: time I think.:smile:

I had mine out when I was 6 years old.
I hope you feel better soon.
:hugs: (but not in a pervy way)
