When I was a kid, we had a Vision On annual, and on of the artworks pictured in it was a couple of sculptures of knights, made out of scrap metal. I remember thinking back then (I was about 8) what a very very cool thing that was, and feeling a bit sad that I couldn't weld, so I'd never be able to do it myself.

I was a dull child sometimes, it never occurred to me that one day I could learn to weld!

:cuppa: for me please.

I am off to the physio later to see what I can get on with doing.

Hopefully if I keep up the exercises and stretching I will be cycling and driving again sooner then I expected!

Our 18 year old cat Billa has started pooing on the carpet in the spare room. Looks like we will have to ban her from that room. Not impressed really. I have always said that if the cat started to pee and poo in the house then I wouldn't be happy living in a stinking house.

She is on two lots of tablets now for kidney and thyroid function, costing £500 a year.

Do you know if it is an incontinence issue, or a security issue, or a confusion issue?

I think it's just old age NT, she sleeps on the cabin bed upstairs, by the time she has flung her self off that it's to late to get to her litter tray down stairs. We will ban her from that room and see how she goes, but if she starts doing it in some other place we may have to consider our options. 18 years is a good innings for a cat I think. Not a good thought but with the added cost of £80 for 100 thyroid tablets and £18 every two weeks for kidney tablets the cost of keeping her alive is mounting up.

Is it worth putting her tray closer to where she is happy to sleep?

It is a lot of money, whether or not it gives her any better quality of life is a tough call. Sometimes we keep our pets going for our benefit rather then theirs.
