I have Mini Cheese Bakes from Aldi and a

I have cut out the ceiling in the proposed bathroom. The plaster and lathe ceiling is on the floor and will need tidying up. Lots of dust! The Velux won't fit between two rafters so I will need to cut one and rebuild around the opening. Not cut through the roof felt yet as there was a sudden storm.
I will tidy another time, when the dust has settled. For now I am showered and clean again.

Arch collected a load of those Douwe Egbert's glass coffee jars for me to use for storing cake ingredients. I have soaked off the labels and the coffee remnants and they are now in the dish washer for a proper clean. I will boil sterilise them later.

I've just checked Jo's cycling club website (I hope you don't mind, Jo) and she was on a ride with them on Sunday so she is still about, having a life.

Well, I have been having a strange day.
I sold a bike to a work colleague a while back.
He told me today that it had been stolen a week ago.
This lunchtime we saw it, chained onto a fence near work.
It was the work of a moment to venture forth with the bolt cutters.
I have stolen my old bike back!!!

Its a shame you couldnt have locked it up with loads of locks then just sit and watch for a while could have been quite entertaining.
