I hope your day today is an improvement on yesterday. I'm now in the Yorkshire Dales for a few days.

:cuppa: anyone?

Yesterday I was adding more books to the Library Database at the Pump House. Most of the books (about 800) that I have added to the database have been interesting ones, or have had nice easy titles, names of authors and names of publishers.

The books I was trying to add were all on the subject of education, Key Stage 312 of Design Technology Art Drawing, with ever so long titles and even longer names of publishers.:unsure::wacko::tired:

I then tried to help my colleague work out how to make giant pom poms as part of an art project. It is to be noted that she decided not to try and break the world record of making a pom pom fourteen feet across. The drawback to it being that size, was that we could not calculate the weight of the finished pom pom.

The day was rounded off nicely on my journey home. I nearly became a sandwich between a twenty tonne, or it could have fifty ton lorry, when I was in a backed-up queue of traffic. My life flashed before me accompanied by the sound of the squealling brakes applied to all 24 of his tyres.

I think I can say, without fear of contradiction, that today has been calmer.

Think so...

What are you going to cut the cardboard donuts out of? If they need to be 14 feet across, that's a very very big cardboard box!

(I know you said you weren't going to do it, but I'm going to nag you until you give in....)^_^

I am in Bolton to see a man about an ebay item. He said he would be in after 6pm.
I guess 7.30-8.00 does count as after 6!

Anyway, did a good deed today. I drove across Manchester to 'rescue' an old client of mine after she locked herself out. Fortunately I still had her spare keys.
