I have a bruised knuckle. On my walk to the station, I noticed a car pulled up at lights, not moving off despite a green light, and cars behind hooting. The driver was on his phone, totally engrossed in conversation. So I walked over to the passenger side, paused for effect, and rapped very hard on the window, and told him to get off his phone and look at the lights! I hope I scared the life out of him.

Good for you Arch.....if there's one thing that makes me, it's drivers not paying attention because they are on the phone.
This one was so far from paying attention, I guess he wasn't even dangerous, because he was going nowhere! The lights must have been green for some seconds, and the cars behind had hooted twice already.
I'd like to think he'll change his ways, but I'm not holding my breath. I got a wave from the driver stuck behind him, and I signalled that the twit had been on the phone.
If I'd had my steel toed boots on, I could have given the door a kick, that might have left a dent!

This evening I have been teaching myself how to scan documents, open them in paint and add words. Now I just need to remember how to click etc on several text boxes to get them aligned vertically and horizontally.

I acquired another (new) role at the Pump House today. I will be co-ordinating the information about various recycling of unusual objects such as pens, coffee bean bags, coffee pouches etc.
Unfortunately the post carries no remuneration, unless you count coffee/tea and the odd slice of cake.
