This evening I have been teaching myself how to scan documents, open them in paint and add words. Now I just need to remember how to click etc on several text boxes to get them aligned vertically and horizontally.

Is it something like Control and press something else at the same time?

It is. You just have to find the "press something else at the same time" button on your keyboard...

I acquired another (new) role at the Pump House today. I will be co-ordinating the information about various recycling of unusual objects such as pens, coffee bean bags, coffee pouches etc. Unfortunately the post carries no remuneration, unless you count coffee/tea and the odd slice of cake.

Ah! We're doing coffee pouches and lids too now. We've got a special octagonal box to collect them in. We're also doing Actimel bottles and pens.

Last time my boss totted up, we'd collected £61 worth of stuff for Terracycle. I'm rather chuffed that I came across them.

We also collect certain coloured glass bottles for Bottle Alley Glass. Sorting the recycling gets more complicated everyday!

The box is about three feet tall, and 18" across. Terracycle sent it to us because they've asked us to be a hub for people to bring their coffee stuff in. It's all marked up with Kenco logos and stuff. (Kenco sponsor the coffee plastics recycling)

So far, I don't think many people are bringing stuff to us, we're mainly collecting coffee jar lids via the recycling. It all adds to the fun!
