Potsy, I've still got half of Speicher's huge slice of cake left.....it's on its way to you now. It has an inch of chocolate on the top and a huge filling of fudge. One slice has about 10,000 calories - I'd recommend you have custard with it - but can you save the skin for me?

Once that one had finished, I found another baby elephant video in the mosaic of links it gives you.
Seeing the brand-new baby elephant take its first breath and first wobbly steps was well
The actual birth and gallons of amniotic fluid, rather less so...
Nor had I appreciated that the elephant equivalent of a slapped botty from the midwife was a bit of a kickaround from mummy elephant.

Seems like a long drop for the poor thing, you'd think they'd have strawed down her pen or something.

It's . A lot. Again. Forecast says dry this afternoon so I'm feeling rather inclined to skip this morning's cycle group ride and stay in bed and then go out for a solo ride later. Didn't sleep much last night, which isn't helping the motivation levels.
