Slow start for us after a late and tiring night last night. Jolly fun though, and a great little restaurant. I think we'll go there again if we find ourselves in the city.

I had a Chilli Dog, purely on the basis that people order them in American films and I'd never had one. Mmmmmm

We don't do central Manchester much - not much need. When NT met me at the station and we walked out into the dark city and all the lights and stuff, I realised how much it felt like London to me. York may be a city by name, but it's really very tiny and quaint!

I collected a load of Laburnum logs this morning, and did a bit of chainsaw work.

If you want burning wood I have some silver birch and some beech left over on the firewood pile, about 1/2 a ton worth.
