It's not easy to get to the bottom of the problem, but accepting that it's possible that you are the cause of your problems rather than any external reason is a difficult step to take, and one that you will need help doing. It's difficult to talk about it with people you are closed to as they find it difficult to understand.
I am hoping that if I can get to see the psychology dept then I can start to get to the bottom of what is going on. Then I can stop fire fighting it and get on with resolving it.

There should be a few ash logs going spare soon
They would need burning pretty sharpish though.

Seriously, @Phil_hg_uk , if you want some logs you are welcome to what I have here before it rots away.

Sounds good....will it need a lot of plumbing in? Can you recycle the old one?
I am tempted to keep both!^_^ I do have the steel one I got recently that can be recycled. If I get rid of the old iron one it could be weighed in as scrap or I could try selling it.

The plumbing will be interesting. This one has the spigot taps that are inside the bath, not on the edge.
I am tempted to get some enameled caps to plug them, and the overflow, so that I can have a decent depth of water in it and use it double ended.

I will have to get a wall mounted shower mixer tap fitted into the wall.

<cough> <ahem> winches! <cough>

Really dear, you do select the most eclectic things to collect! ^_^

But Woohoo! about getting the bath. :wahhey:

Meanwhile I'm only just in from work, having sat for two hours in a deeply tedious/annoying meeting. That's two hours of my life I'll never get back. And I'm not sure anything was actually resolved, only time will tell.

Still, I managed to identify someone even more irritating than the irritating person I met last week.

God, I need this :cuppa:.

@Arch C5+1, 9pm, Screamy shouty bloke is screaming and shouting at a Mini while the 'team' bodge it back to shape.
But also Bond Cars on BBC2 at the same time. I've recorded both for you.

Following on from rescuing a neighbour, at the weekend, who had a flat car battery I had to rescue another one today!

Oh thanks, I think I'll watch the Bond thing tonight. Not up to any screaming and shouting!

Who did you rescue this time? I think you ought to have a magnetic orange beacon to put on your car....

Arch may I bring my cow heads and pattern to show you at work tomorrow? I still have a headless cow. :-(

Of course. I hope I can help! Have you got any pins, so I can pin the seams in the right places for you? I'll try and remember to bring some, or there'll be some safety pins knocking about.

My future best man. I have also lent him a battery charger to see if we can save his battery.

I was almost willing to bet that was who it was!

Damn, it's bedtime, and I don't feel like I've had an evening!
