I got a CO alarm and fortunately it hasn't made a sound so far.

Yeah the only danger here is breaking your neck falling out of bed.....

Arch has just reminded me to share my news.

I have been discharged from hospital by the Physiotherapist as I have improved faster then expected and have clearly been doing more exercise on my own then they generally expect from patients.

Well make sure you know what to do when it does, I went from Hmmmm whats that noise to panic in about 20 seconds.

I think, if I realise what it is, I would be opening the windows.
However, as Arch says, there is a risk of first falling out of a bed that is 6' up in the air!

Maybe you could make a chute that inflates when any alarm goes off so you can just slide out of bed .................. or a parachute but that maybe a bit uncomfy in bed

So I went to investigate and it turns out to be my Carbon Monoxide Alarm going bonkers with a reading of 54. It turns out that my wood / coal burning stove has a problem and the chimney was only swept in august, it has to be that as I dont have gas so there is nothing else in the house that can cause it.
...

A good buy, Phil, otherwise it could have been a goodbye Phil!

(PS I'm a fellow CO survivor! That is why I am so forgetful so apologies to everyone on my forum rides who has had me forget their name, or tell them the same stories over and over again!)

Much as I like your enthusiasm, could I request you don't start cleaning the kitchen just now. Only it might make it a bit hard for me to sleep in it....
