I seem to be having this cold in stages. First the earache, and headache, then the sore throat, and now the aahhh tissue, sneezes. So I am obviously not well enough to go to the Sicillian restaurant.

We're back. M1 & M6 on a Friday afternoon . Got there in time. Had the best Tapas we've ever had in this country, then headed off to The Cavern. What a run down, sweaty, pit it is - but that's how we like it. China Crisis had us grooving (well dad dancing) and singing all night .... Wake up, wake up, King in a Catholic style.... .
Big fried breakfast this morning then a mooch around Liverpool in the rain. We saw the Yellow Duck Marine, then set off home.
I'll tell you what, those Scousers really love their traffic lights, every 100 yards for 10 miles.

Afternoon!

I've waiting for a pair of gloves to dry so I can wrap them for my Secret Santa gift. The rule was that things had to be free - found or made* etc, and I found them last night on the street, so I've given them a wash this afternoon. The other part of my gift is a found fancy bottle, with some herb infused olive oil in it (IE, I put the herbs and oil in it).

*We discussed the ethics of including 'stolen', but rejected the idea....

Might be time for soon.

I went to see it last night. I thought it was good. It wasn't the special 48 frames per second version though so can't comment on that.

I would recommend getting an integrated BCD with weight pouches - then you won't have the strain of wearing a weight belt. I'd get you one for Christmas, but I don't know your size......but I bet Lullabelle does

What symptoms are there if you have an allergic reation to rats?

I mentionned the silver fish in relation to my noticing the odd smell. I knew they were an indication of long-established damp. Her house was built in about 1950.

We used to keep pet rats and TVC developed an allergy, his throat closed so he struggled to breath and he developed a rash

Morning all.

We went out for my work Christmas meal last night, very nice it was too. When NT is next online, he may post a photo of his fungi-infested risotto. I had pork. We shared a most gorgeous cinnamon and honey ricotta tart and scoop of sorbet for dessert

We did the Secret Santa thing (gifts must be found, made, or unwanted items owned by the giver), and I recieived a battery powered revolving shoe cleaning device, with brush attachments. Runs off 4 C-cells, old time. No one owned up to being my Santa...
