Well, I've done my wrapping, and I've rather proud of it:
All the names on the tags were fairly short, except 'Katherine'. Such is my dedication that I didn't shorten it!
NT is finishing his stuff off now, having laid and painted a floor this afternoon!

Yeah, my Mum. I tried to get a Sudoku on there too, but they'd printed it too near the edge to fit it all on.
It's all recycled - the tags are cut-up manilla envelope, and the string is some that NT and I salvaged from a scout hut cupboard when it was cleared out. I made a couple of little gift bags to hold a couple of cash gifts - fancier than a plain envelope...

We picked up 2 2/3 sheets of 18mm 8'x4' birch plywood this afternoon after doing an emergency call out to sort out a wet light switch. The rain held off just long enough to bring the sheets home from B&Q without them getting wet.
I then set about laying the flooring in the box room so there is a decent floor in there and then painted it with light grey floor paint. I was hoping to use garage floor paint but Dad picked up the interior use (not got garage floors) stuff and it will need many coats as it is more like a thick stain.
Then I sorted out my present to Arch, I got her six in the end, and then baked some little cakes.
The cakes have crushed almonds in them and also little blobs of marzipan in some together with blueberries and raspberries. we will take them with us, if they are any good. Still have to try one.
