I have a thick lip! And also some red itchy lumps on my arms.
I think i have an allergy to, possibly, white wine or something that is in it. Third time recently too.

Antihistamines seem to help bring it down but it is really annoying.

It is so nice to back at home and with my own laptop. I can post properly again, though TBH, I haven't missed being online.

My head is feeling better and my thick lip is almost back to normal.

We have quickly cleaned and dusted the larger of the guest rooms and shifted stuff about so the pile of bikes can stay in there, along with my 'Prince Charles has used this' furniture. I should have shut the door on the room before doing the building work in the box room next to it but I forgot and then it was too late to worry about it.

I am trying to design some sort of mechanism that will allow a desk to become a single bed for the box room. I had intended to put the bed on a mezzanine but decided that it would be better to have it low down like an ordinary bed. However, as it will be where my desk will be, and also lower down, then some sort of mechanism will need to be devised to lower the surface of the desk for a mattress to go on. I will also need leg room under the desk so I can't just add a surface over the bed.

The desk. I guess the bed will be needed for maybe a fortnight a year, if that, but I want it to be a proper bed, not an air bed or futon type thing.

NT and I have been fossicking about in the bigger box room, poking about in boxes, finding a few things to chuck out, giggling a bit over some of the more dated items. Dusty work, but another little step forward in getting some obselete stuff out of the house.

Does anyone need a Calor Gas rice cooker?
