Oh, just thought I'd mention that we found a Ming vase yesterday while sorting through some boxes of Dad's stuff. He was very pleased to see it back as he thought it was lost. Not worth much though as it was cracked.

I'm hoping we'll turn up a terracotta warrior or two in one of the boxes, but I think it's more likely to be light switches or extractor fans.

I've been to see Life of Pi. T'was very good. And I performed several good deeds, helping my friend eat the last of her mince pies and brandy butter so she can get started with her diet, and then doing the same with the choccies she bought for the film.

Apparently the hound referred to by me earlier thinks so. He found a packet of Mentos on his walk this afternoon and ate the whole lot without even pausing to unwrap them!
