Not just me then  so frustrating when that happens
Yup, especially as there aren't any stairs in my house.

Yes, same here. Today started ok, but went a bit flat, just like the offside rear tyre on the van we've hired to help out. We changed it, but it was a tiresome inconvenience, that put us back an hour.

From then on, although not much else actually went wrong, my mood spiralled downwards like a spirally downwards thing.

Beans on toast for dinner again, mainly because I couldn't be bothered to actually cook properly, having only got in just after 6.

Mum's ringing tonight, so I have to sound cheerful for an hour.

And I've run out of cheese.

:hugs:

I has hummus :hungry:

Are you sure your stick of celery is in there somewhere...?

This is my bath in place. It will move out again as I do work but that is where it will sit in the end.

And, WRT the whole mashed chickpea thing, Wiki has this to say on the topic.
Etymology

Hummus is an Arabic word (حمّص ḥummuṣ) meaning "chickpeas," and the complete name of the prepared spread in Arabic is حمّص بطحينة ḥummuṣ bi ṭaḥīna, which means "chickpeas with tahini".[2][3] Spellings of the word in English can be inconsistent.[4] "Houmous" is the standard spelling in British English. Among other spellings are hummus, hummous, hommos, humos, hommus and hoummos.

Changing the subject entirely, having read Gromits letter to her father, I'd like to do a short one to mine. It's the stuff you never feel you can say...

Dear Dad,
You've been a good father to me, and you're a great bloke too.
Love you,
T.

NT, you probably already prepared for it but please make sure you spread the point load from a full bath over several joists not just on packers on the floorboards. If you're leaving the bath open, you might need to double up the joists underneath the feet.
