Yes, I should have known that. They are fruit scones, and there will be proper butter to accompany them. I prefer scones with jam and fresh cream, but had no cream in the fridge.

I agree Arch, you both deserve a day off. Then you will, I hope, feel refreshed for next week. I like mooching about, in antiques places. There are a few round here, with reasonably priced objects, and with a Tea Room nearby.
I was inspired by NT's thoughts about baking, and I have made some scones. I expect that unfortunately Lullabelle and TVC are not well enough for scones and tea later this afternoon.

What is daughter #2 studying?
This year at Speicher Towers I will be starting the de-cluttering process.
I am starting with the mountains of paperwork filed in a cabinet, stuffed to the gunnels, so that it is difficult impossible to put another piece of paper in there. I have paperwork from a college course that I finished in err...um.. 2005. Is it safe to shred that now?

Speicher.#2 is studying Geology. Her report was liberally sprinkled with lots of new technical words. I did query the "INCOMPETENT SEDIMENTS". They could be but what should they be competent at?
I'm attempting to declutter this year too. Stuff from 2005 is recent by comparison. 30 yr old bike bits anyone? BTW I still have my Uni notes from the early 70's. So I win

Er yes, possibly an indication of why I failed my A level Maths. It should have been, and is now edited to 1976.

Oh ah - I think I might have some O level stuff from the 60's. I did keep the bit of OS mapping from my geography O level. Good grief - the stuff we hang onto and won't let go.
