I have to phone the hospital for the X-ray appointment in the evening between 5pm and 8pm.
I have been redialing every 30 seconds since 5pm and the line has been busy.

I got a bit more filling, sanding, and painting done today. I must be well again!
Still have to top coat the walls, and the door and window frames. Then fit the skirtings and architraves, the electric second fix, and then a final coat of floor paint.

I am glad I am slightly ahead of the job, it has made it less stressful when being ill and not working on the room.

I'm off work for the rest of the week. I rang in to say I didn't think I'd be in tomorrow, and apparently sounded so bad the boss just got cover for Friday too, and texted me back with orders to rest.

New today, my fingernails hurted.

I think I might attempt scrambling an egg later, and maybe a little portion of Smash. I had cup-a-soup for lunch. Thank goodness for food made by adding hot water...

I do wish I was there to pour hot water on food for you to save you having to do that.

You will feel better, I felt like it was probably pneumonia, or worse, when I was coughing up blood.



I have finally got through to the X-ray Dept and have an appointment for 2pm tomorrow. Not sure if I should walk or cycle to it. Probably walk due to the predicted weather. I'll see how icy it looks, maybe it will have warmed up by then.

My mum bought some Maltesers for me.
I decided to open a packet a little while ago.

They are a bit odd. The chocolate is speckled white and tastes foul.
It is Netherlands packaging with a date of 24-02-13.

I'd walk if there's any risk of ice. Also, you can walk gently. I can't imagine having the puff to cycle at the moment.

At the moment, it just feels like a very bad cold with headache, but I think you found it came and went a bit? I'm not used to dosing myself with paracetamol, and keep forgetting when I last took one. Still, I'm only taking one tablet each time, not 2.

Sounds like they got bloomed, (I think that's due to being exposed to excessive temperatures), but I'm not sure that makes it taste bad, just spoils the look. Chuck them.
