Tea? (Part 2)

Plenty of snow over the Pennine tops, and a fair bit here in York, but slushy pavements.

Home now, and I think I can get away without going back out for any groceries.

Cloudy here and fairly warm, all things considering. Just walked the dog, going into town shortly for some non-essentials, more because I fancy a ride than any urgency.

The snow is quite deep here and the roads are very quiet, using my new unit of measure I would class the snow as half a Hobbit deep

Oh, and I am feeling absolutely famished. This diet is hard.....specially when there is fruit cake sitting on the table next to my laptop and it's saying 'Eat Me'

Put it in the cupboard. Out of sight, out of mind. And then if you DO give in, you'll burn off a couple of extra calories walking to and from the kitchen.

I'm a bit worried about Archie......I hear that the conditions are bad in the NE and those northerners are so soft

I think we should have a whip round and buy him a bonnet and some gloves (on a string so he doesn't lose them)
