Sounds like it's got wet like Rocky said. As for the short battery life, do you have it on shuffle? Lullabelles nano quickly goes flat in that mode.

Did you ever get it wet, Nihal. I've experienced similar problems when I soaked an iPod. A new battery might help but it could be more expensive than that. Have you got a birthday coming up soon?
Nope, but it got folded up in a wet towel, thats when it stopped working, two weeks later it starts up.So it is the battery?

It's a bit hard to diagnose - but it could be that. Have you an Apple Store near you?
Been there,4000 bucks to repair, apparently the motherboard went kaput, they say()it should have never restarted, but somehow it did.I ope the battery will be a lot cheaper.Or there the option of getting a new one, which i might, but not in the next 3-4 months.

Talking of shuffle, I read a nice story of a guy that was listening to an audiobook of a Sherlock Holmes novel and found it very difficult to work out what was going on. Random things kept happening. Then he discovered he'd put his iPod on shuffle
See for 5 minutes you hear some guy screaming, the next five growling, the next 5 yelling, and the next five instrumental..............it seriously drives you mental:laugh:
