Just heard a request on the radio for a family wishing their daughter Isla a very happy birthday.... guess what the parents' surname was...

That set the A_T family off on a torrent of laughter thinking up alternatives and who she could marry... especially if she hi-phonated her married surname...

Such fun!

I can haz wasabi peas!

NT's relatives brought some big selection bags of sweets as presents - some normal, some more unusual.

As a result, I've discovered the joy of the coffee flavoured boiled sweet!

But now, we have :cuppa: while we wait for them to want picking up from Old Trafford.

....I'd spill most of it just now...:hyper:
Miss A_T has picked up some awful habits from her driving instructor or at least has been allowed to drive uncorrected... result is MissA_T is in tears and thinks I've been horrible.
Oh dear, she isn't going to enjoy learning with me unless she lightens up a bit.
When I was married I taught my wife to drive, while at the same time driving her around the country for her job. Her job required her to drive around her 'patch' which was Midlands to the Lakes, full width of the country. She couldn't drive when they gave her the job.
She passed first time and has kept a clean licence and insurance record ever since.

These are fairly mild wasabi peas (a dozen or so in a little sachet), although I worry there might be a 'joker' sachet that has them at triple strength!

I am trying to shift some lard, not easy. Started out ok but then was laid low with a virus, then snow and ice appeared now I have had a reaction to my holiday jabs and feel pretty lousy so exercise has been limited so far this year. Up at 11.30 today and have done very little apart from watching big men in shorts running around a field shoving each other. Go Italy....

I have now finished editing the paperwork, and have a pile of scrap paper about four inches tall. Some people send out standard letters, on very posh paper, so I will use the other side of it. The confidential stuff has been shredded, and will go in the compost bin.

I was complemented the other day about my compost. ^_^ This was from someone who was convinced that home compost is usually a soggy unusable mess.

Tasha has started to miss Leo, or perhaps she is just missing being able to scoff the biscuits that he inadvertently leaves she steals from him.

I have found just the right place for The Doctor to take his next organised ride.

By way of explanation, I was talking to someone on the phone this morning, who was asking me about the approximate location of Milton Keynes, Northampton and Cambridge. I had, conveniently, a road atlas on the table, and thought I would also look at where The Esteemed Doctor was going today. ^_^

It does not look big enough to have its own Café. However, I am of the opinion that The Doctor would not be averse to finding one nearby, should he wish to do so.
