I'm glad your roof is water tight....it gives peace of mind knowing that you won't have to get the buckets out at the next downpour. I bet it will be nice to have Leo back

Chicken and chips :hungry:, lovely
It is watertight now because they put some of the old cracked ones back on the roof, while they wait for the "new" ones to arrive.
Considering the overall cost of the work, if I had to pay for two dozen extra tiles, I would not have been worried. Better that then fiddling about temporarily putting back old tiles.

On a much lighter note there is a double episode of "Murdoch Mysteries" tonight on Alibi. The last episode of series 5 and the first episode of series 6. It is set in Canada in the early part of last Century. As well as being a Detective the lead character and his assistant are inventors of things. ^_^ It makes some very interesting story lines. Then there is the cycling Tour of Qatar.
This evening I may also be consuming a glass or two of demi sec sparkling white wine.

But logical thinking may not be a strong point for a roofer.....we've had this before when we were having the patio built. They kept running out of paving stones and then expected us to order them as well as pay for their time standing around waiting for deliveries and drinking tea. We didn't pay...

Even if they ordered the tiles today, they would not be delivered until Friday!

Following my family trend, I have 11,680 days left... but tomorrow I have to sort a site archaeological appraisal out- we've found Hadrian's Wall...
How the Council didn't already know since they're selling the site is a complete mystery....

I just had a Shui-Po cake, from the bag of sweeties NT's relatives brought.

I think it was made from an off-cut of plasterboard!

I had a couple of Malteasers to compensate...
