I've only got to ensure that i'm fitter and can climb higher than Potsy so i can put my feet up. I take it that by getting fitter than Phil that means that you can run along side him as he climbs those hills

That beach looks just like the beach in my home town of Deal. I have wistful memories of being fit enough to run up and down the beach and running between the 3 castles and back again,
That will never happen again

I used to run a lot, i never really enjoyed it but it is the quickest way to get fit and i used to find it easy many moons ago. Now i will do it under protest and no more than 3 miles but i will happily cycle forever
