Guess who fell off his bike today?


I kindly let this profusely perspiring fellow have right of way and I cut across the grass....NOT
I kinda slipped as I came over the bottlenose and landed on the grass, luckily a 5mph fall...
and guess what?

The fe**er never even stopped and asked if I was okay...he looked at me on the ground...
I think he heard the expletives I shouted as he cycled away...
Silly Bob won't do that again..Polly seems okay

62k for me, tingling face, red knees...hooray.. and a 15mph headwind on the best fast descent of the day...boo. Took about 10mph off me.

More than delighted today as I was working in awfy posh Kilmacolm...a 8 mile return commute and I managed an extra 13 ml so 21 mile logged, delighted
I wore my work clothes so strange having no padding or three quarter shorts
I'm there tomorrow but a basic commute I think(but who knows)
The fields were white with frost so a wee chilly start..
no bottlenose tomorrow

Now, if you have been out all afternoon, expending many, many calories what would you like for your supper? This morning I left in the kitchen, thawing out, a pack of mince and a pack of chicken thighs. We could have a nice chicken curry, a spanish chicken casserole, a chilli or a lasagne... When I get home MrsD has been home from work for a couple of hours and has been busy in the kitchen.

'What have we got for tea love?'
'A frittata with salad.'
