I don't know what he does to keep the site running, but whatever it is, it seems to have taken quite some doing yesterday. Something to do with servers and software, whatever those are...

Anyway, I reckon he deserves a bit of cake. Or maybe even a lot of cake.

It does look nice and fresh in here, is this the refurb that Archie tect was on about?

Where's the cake?

I'm tied up in bureaucracy, looks like my return to work is more like base jumping.

Trying to get help with coming off benefits while working part time has left me with the choice to either jump off with both feet(being financially self sufficient), cut my working hours or even cease working in order to remain somewhere near solvency.
The catch with both the first choices is I stand to be worse off than if I were just signing on.

TEA PLEASE!

Thank you Gentlemen,

I have the work but it is sporadic, anything from 4 to 12hrs a week, which makes finding a consistent average for the DWP to work assess my benefits from, damn near impossible.

S'funny as I feel like the anti recession man, I have the work coming in in dribs and drabs but stand to be worse off for having this opportunity at my disposal after a long time away from work.

I tell you what, no Government of any party is gonna clear up unemployment while the system works(hahahaha)as it does.

MORE TEA!

Servers are those triangular silver cake slice thingies people get as wedding presents, and software is the paper napkins...

Talking of jobs, I utterly confused my mother talking about the stuff I have coming up - for three weeks in october I'll have three jobs! Talk about in at the deep end! Ended up doing a last minute wombling day yesterday as someone had called in sick.

Had my quarterly haircut this morning, need some tea to recover. I'll put the kettle on. I better give the penguins their 10 minute call to get out of the pool, while I'm at it.

It's from the Wallace and Gromit "Shaun the Sheep" range...

Talking of which I saw this on Sunday:

It was just after I'd seen the Red Kite (I think) skimming low over a field on the other side of the road. Later in the same ride, I surprised a cow by saying hello to it.
