I would like some Tea, done the gardening, the bit I did not finish on Monday, and also tidied, weeding etc the plants in pots, and sanded down one bence and two chairs. Now time for a shower.

Arch I shall e-mail you some of my treacle sponge next time I do some.

Thank you. What will be the best way to clean out my USB port afterwards?

Local organic milk eh?
yh we know the farmer whose cows supply the milk, where it is cartoned etc..

to clean a usb from treacle i would suggest warm custard to help melt the sugars. wouldn't mind a slice too

haven't summoned up the courage to give blood yet, gave it once for medical reasons, wasn't pleasant lol!

I once helped as a control test for my wife's job, which involved giving blood... everything seemed fine, crossed the dual carriageway from her department to the car park, found my car, opened the door and fell in, in a dead faint...

I think I'm up to seventeen or eighteen donations now.

On several of those occasions, I've not even been aware of the needle being inserted: absolutely painless. Other times, you feel the scratch, but nothing more. I think it comes down to what your veins are like, and the skill of the phlebotomist.

When I talk to my colleagues about it, many respond with "I can't stand the sight of blood". But the thing is - you never see any! They are so discreet and slick with the whole operation, it's really quite enjoyable.

I've given blood twice, and both times I've passed out afterwards.
After the second time, I got a letter asking me not to donate any more.

You know what I've done!

I washed up my dinner plate, then rang my Mum to let her know I'd be away at the weekend, intending to make my evening cuppa once I'd spoken to her. While I was talking to her, I turned the computer on and came online.

Two hours later, and I've realised I've forgotton to have my evening cup of tea! It's too late now.

And I've done no knitting. This is not good!

Why not ? Did you not have any left after the second time?:wahhey::wahhey:

I can only assume it was too much hassle retreiving me from under the table.
Which is not somewhere I'm accustomed to ending up, especially after a mug of tea and a Lemon Puff biskit.

Not so fast...this was a few jobs and maybe a decade back.
Ermm... you are aware that Lemon Puff is a biskit, yes? They don't give you 'puff'.
As far as I know...
Put the donation rates up a bit if they did, I suppose.
Except everyone would wake up after an operation with an inexplicable urge to order pizzas and listen to King Crimson...
