Morning all, have a good ride out Helen.

The sun is shining a lot here currently .

Yesterday was bike ride day and today is clean the skog and filth off the bike day.
Might make some cup cakes later from this book.

I has croissants

Don't worry, you can get pills for that.

I'm back from a spin on the trike. Felt pretty good, now waiting to see whether I've overdone it.

Mostly flat, only having my high gears at the mo, but I did find one nice longish gentle straight climb (ok, a mere bump, but the most climbing I did all day), so when I got to the top, I turned round and went back down, for the fun of it!

I would like some extra strong tea and some ear muffs.
Leo the cat ruptured his cruciate ligament on one of his back legs this morning - at approx 7 am. I know when it happend cos that is when the howling started.

This morning the vet says bring him back in for an operation tomorrow morning, but that Leo must not eat anything after 6pm. I am prepared for being glared at, and stared and looked at as if I am the mostest horriblest person.

I forgot to ask the Vet if Leo will need a plaster or a bandage - anyone know or does it depend what they find when they operate? He has my sympathy, straining my cruciate ligament was bad enough.

Poor Leo!

You may find you need to incarcerate Leo for a while for 'cage rest' if he requires restricted movement. Stops them attempting to jump about and re-ijuring themselves. If you do, you may find a local pet superstore such as Jollyes or Pets At Home.

Get well soon Leo.

Washed my bike today and I had forgotten that it was red.

Anyhoo, mash, peas and pie for dinner and a glass or 2 of Blossom Hill wine.

Longers - you had the right idea. I've come back with a bike even dirtier than before I cleaned it yesterday:sad:. But it was worth it:biggrin:. 73 miles in the sunshine including a trip to the coast and a pootle past a local stately home.
