At least that phase thins out after time, now at 8y/o Misty only asks 'why' in company and usually about delicate or embarassing matters.

Then again MistySnr at 19 never asks why and tends to have to pay the consequences.

Friend of mine had been explaining to an enquiring junior where his little sister came from. Obviously having thought about the answer overnight he approached father in the supermarket next day and asked loudly "Do birds have penises?"

No excuses here for my tardiness, other than my bed being reeeeeeeeeeeeally cosy.
Good thing I made the most of it too, it's gone all cold and wet here.

Mrs Uncle Phil and I were on a 102 km audax yesterday. What's your excuse, Waffles?

It was good to see you on that yesterday. I'd only been back at the finish for 10 minutes when you got there, and you'd had another tea stop after you'd seen me as well!

It was a good ride. Although I was getting a bit bored of the wind on the way out,

it was very welcome on the return portion.

Went out in the cold rain for a spin. Wasn't so much of a spin tho' as the head wind turned it into a grind. Never mind - it dried up just as I got back.
