So. That new Doctor eh?

Pretty darn good is the consensus from Landslide Towers.

He's good, or certainly he will be once he settles in - it's always tricky just after regeneration.

She's alright, the usual fiesty pretty one.

I absolutely hate the new theme arrangement and the choral incidental music. They better sort that out.

I'm giving it time. First episode of a new Doctor, new assistant and new chief-script-bloke-in-charge is bound to be finding its feet a bit. I'm hoping it'll tone down a touch. If it doesn't, then I've outgrown it, and I'm old... It was a touch too comedic, but I suspect there'll be dark stuff on the way.

I liked the idea of the swimming pool having slopped into the library....

TheDoctor wishes to make it known that he has got the new Doctor Who recorded and awaiting his return to Blighty. He does not want to know anything about what happens.

As a Public Service announcement:-
Beware. The Ysboerke restaurant in Oostende claims it can do English tea. It cannot. A teapot full of hot (not boiling) water, a Liptons Yellow Label teabag still in the wrapper, and a few tubs of that strange evaporated milk that the Dutch put in coffee does not make for tea as we know it. Fortunately, I anticipated this and had a beer instead :reading:
The Stoverij was ruddy excellent though
