I've some custard left over if you like. And a bit of Rhubarb Crumble. I made 2 pints of custard as my M-in-L said she liked it. But she only had two dessert spoonfuls and daughter wouldn't eat hers. Plenty to go around

Meatballs and custard? It's unorthodox...

Ningles!!! No hail here (as yet) but it's a bit blowy and cloudy out there.
I'll probably get out for a ride anyhow.
But first, a brew. First-thing-in-the-morning Tea is required.
I'll get the kettle fired up.

Hailed a few mins ago. Could have been worse, I could have been out in it!!
Still as windy as anything. I may have to give up on the ride and go and try my new kite out.
It's the finest one they had in Poundland. Made of money, me.

I've just come in from doing a spot of digging in the garden - to get a space prepared for a couple of gooseberry bushes. The heavens opened, so I have come back in for a breather & a cuppa (and to dry off). I've noticed that it's stopped raining so once I've finished my cuppa I'm back out there to do some planting.

I might be struggling to contain my excitement this evening.

A programme about the sub-genre of films about submarines with Robert Llewellyn :biggrin: (the one in Scrap Heap Challlenge). Folowed by Crimson Tide with Gene Hackman :wahhey:

Must find a bottle of fermented grape juice.

Hope these showers don't find us . The wind is certainly going to

Waffles - be careful now. You don't want to find something "under the gooseberry bush" do you? Better plant Red Currants instead

Considering I've had the full speying-jobbie, combined with my great age, if I find anything under the gooseberry bush, I'll be making a lot of money selling my story to Screws Of The World or the Daily Wail

Quiet in here tonight, where is everyone?

Variable weather today, freezing rain one minute, blazing sun the next. Being a bank holiday we were able to finish and bunk off an hour early. I was going to put in a couple of extra miles on the way home (only 2 or 3), but then someone mentioned the pub..

So I had a pint instead...

Welcome!

My last mugful of the day is a bit cold now, it's time for bed really (well, to log off and get into bed for the warmth.).

Or maybe just a bit longer...
