Yes please - I'll have a scone.

Some fresh brew here mr Mag00.

Been pedalling up hill and down dale today. Many hills had arrows on them according to the map but I didn't see any on the tarmac . I reckon the OS Landrangers are losing their accuracy ;)

Just when do we get some warmer wevver? I wants to plant stuff out in the garden...............

Mornings, peeps! Morning brew a little late today. Are we all having a lie-in?

No lie in here, even though it's my first morning without a job to go to. I had a lovely Warm Showers guest staying last night and she took me out for breakfast and c****e.

Dolce has done a runner in the garden. Stupid hen... She is so flighty & nervous - the other's a fine, friendly & inquisitive. Dolce is a true nut-job, in full 'headless chicken-mode' all the time. She is convinced I'm the big evil human out to kill her. Sigh. I just hope I can get her back in the run before a Mr Fox of a Mr Mink locates her..

Just got Dolce back in the last few minutes.

I am *exhausted* Think Yakety Sax... and me chasing a hen round the garden and you've got the picture.

It has done my knees no good whatsoever!

Or with my current state of overweight... this version probably conjures up a more accurate mental image..

Afternoon all!

Just back (well, about an hour ago, I had to go get milk and so on) from Prestiegne and the electric bike show. A good weekend, despite the rain on Saturday. I have a couple of recommendations for anyone in the area:

In Presteigne, the Royal Oak pub, for dinner. A whopping juicy sirloin steak (well, 8oz, but the biggest 8oz of steak I've ever seen), chips, onion rings, tomato, peas and mushrooms (for anyone deviant enough to want them), for £7.50!

The lamb cutlets were also excellent. Also, it's a proper local, but friendly with it.

And Shobdon Airfield cafe for a full English breakfast. With a bit of luck, you get aircraft landing and taking off too!

The whole area looks like a nice base for a holiday - quite rolling terrain, but not the worst I've seen.

Welcome back Arch! Was it very cold? It seems freezing here today and not the best weather for camping.

My mechanical skills are improving at a snails pace. I've just figured out how to put on a new set of bars and move the shifters over:smile:. The fun will come when I try to tape them...
