I think weak black tea is the standard TV/theatre prop for whisky isn't it?

Bit wet today. By the time we finished, my feet were sort of floating around inside my boots....

But I still made myself ride the long way home to get the weekly total up to 50.

Why is TheDoctor lying in the middle of the floor snoring? I just tripped over him...

I've spent all morning minding a stall at Leeds Farmers' market. In the rain. Ok, I was under shelter, but it didn't make for a busy morning. Sold one skein of wool, one ball and some sheep greetings cards.

I've just had my first cuppa of the day too! I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Just been to the allotment with Bikepete. I did say we should have gone yesterday when it was dry. Anyway this is what we brought back.

BTW, if you find yourself overrun with marrow, I have a recipe for stuffed marrow that is nice and easy.

Eat that sweetcorn ASAP to get the benefit of the sweetness. Just boiled, and then with loads of butter melted over it. My Mum likes to serve cheese on toast as an accompaniment. I like to mop up the melted butter from the plate with the core of the cob and then suck it off.

Have you got any of those little forks for eating corncobs with - the ones you stick into each end to hold it while you nibble? My Mum has a set, I think they are 1960's originals with plastic handles. There are a couple where when you pull them out, the handle comes off and the fork stays stuck in the cob...

No, I don't usually bother, however Pete use two normal forks to eat them with. Its too much faffing, I would rather use my fingers.

Ah lovely cuppa Ta Arch. How do you stop T flowing from the USB port? - it's ruining the carpet . Oh ah - I've just put another mug under it

Hmmph - 300 miles in 2 days and not a lot of sleep. Delivering daughters that is with a car full of stuff. So I was hoping for a pedal today but it was heaving down here till mid afternoon. So I'm totally mile-less this week
