Well, drink this, and take the time in lieu another day. I'm home early, having cashed in an hour of lieu time. After sweeping the yard - a bit of a Forth Bridge task at this time of year, due to the leaves....

Hmm, I'm thinking we might want to not have candles on the tables though....

Candles on tables, especially little ones, are a liability.

I was sorting out my sheet music for a pub gig once, and there were nighlights on the tables. My dots for "Streetlife" caught fire. They're still singed now. Other musicians see it and conclude I don't like the song.

Been painting my masonry on the front of 26x25 towers, yesterday and today. Tis all done now (2 coats) and looks all nice and clean and white now. Trouble is the woodwork is now looking extremely in need of a good coat of paint.

Ah well I abondoned that problem and went for a pedal this afternoon. What an excellent pedalling afternoon it was
