Ah - don't work too hard Arch. "They" will come to expect it

Been a bit difficult for me today. SAD setting in.........

Anyway I did go off to the nursery today on the MtB. A bit of off road and some winter thrushes in the hedges and a bit of icy lane and I bought some plants for Mrs 26x25. I've hidden them in the garage. Tis her Burfday on 26th - so Shhhhh - no telling.

Can't help it. Anyway, job's got to be done. I'll get the time back, when it suits me... And fortunately for me, 'they' is a boss who works as hard as we do, alongside us (when he's not off recovering from a hernia op, as he is now).

Best get as much daylight as you can I guess? Think of it though, in 4 days, the days start to get longer again. Spring is coming, however much it seems not to be.

Always sounds like you enjoy your job Arch, makes you want to do a bit more if that is the case.
I've been with my employers for 16 years now and every year it gets harder to stay motivated as they expect more for less, every few weeks we seem to get new rules and ways to do things etc, forms to fill in, charts to see the efficiency and so on.

Had a nice little afternoon nap and have just put a pie in the oven for tea (stop laughing Speicher) family visiting tomorrow so it will be chaos over the weekend.

Arch if you need a good laugh - watch the Strictly ITT that was on this evening. Towards the end, ie after about three quarters an hour, Miranda joins in and is extremely funny.

Potsy, I think we need to find out where Artem and Kara will be having dinner tomorrow evening. You can distract Kara and I will talk to Artem.

I had a mince pie for pudding this evening, and I will be having another one shortly.

1 mince pie is hardly pudding, unless it's 10" diameter
I'm tucking back into my goody bag

It was three inches, not ten inches. ;)

Pah, then it's a mere snack.

They were bought at the Baker's shop. So I just ask for how ever many I would like, and double it!!!

Also ordered one dozen for me to collect next Thursday.
I am not well enough to start making mince pies. Need to concentrate on decorations and the cats.

Remind me who it is who has a picture on the gallery of this forum - a picture of five cats all wearing Christmas hats. ;)

It is a lovely photo. The one in the middle looks just like Leo, and the one that is second from the right could be Tasha.
