Night Train, have you seen "An Unfinished Life"? That is a good film. Sad in places but good.
I also like any film with Gene Hackman or Jack Nicholson in it. Or Tommy Lee Jones? If Gene Hackman is a submarine Commander that is even better. Hunt for Red October, Crimson Tide etc. Not girly at all.

I like Tommy Lee Jones, not so keen on Jack Nicholson though.
I also have 'Prime' and 'The Truth About Cats And Dogs', both Uma Thurman films though not deliberately.
