jaffa cake supplier?? oh dear sounds like some addiction you have there! do they deal in cakes or biscuits...to me it's a biscuit!

paramedic- I toy with the idea, I have to finish off my driving first and here in London you need to have held the license for two years and done a fair amount of london driving. I have time to think about it but it's probably quite a high stress job and tis not the best plan for me at the moment. Besides, I think my main plan of a creative career/self employed (photographer/crafted goods (and other things I'm working on such as web design if I get the concentration back fully) in the longer term when I'm back on my feet is the better and healthier plan.

I think the cats have decided it is time to go to sleep now. They usually get on very well, just the odd skermish so that Tasha knows that Leo thinks he is the boss. ;)

tt- I imagine it's not a job that will keep the stress levels down, neither is driving in London

Well, the Jaffa 'Cakes' are kept on the biscuit aisle in Tesco and they are the font of all knowledge when it comes to shopping. I wouldn't say I'm addicted, just mildly besotted with them

Night Speich!

hhmmm fig rolls--I love figs fresh and dried but think fig rolls are just too sweet and tea cakes too - I know, I know, I can't call myself a proper cyclist!

Driving in London is actually fun- I love it- when I was learning last year, I really enjoyed it, didn't really find it stressful- yes there are nutters but I was kind of expecting that anyway- got to say cycling helped with road knowledge and confidence- I found when I was a teen learning in the Midlands was far more nerve wracking. I will hope to have the money together to finish off the driving as it's a useful skill to have and to be frank, it's only going to get more expensive but not for now immediately anyway as me, the partner and the cat are surviving on pennies at the moment .

It is very quiet in here today, has everyone gone away for the weekend, leaving me on my ownsome?

This afternoon I have made soup and some scones.

Oh well, I thought I made some scones... anyone seen them?

Scones with jam are my favourites, but sounds like you've scoffed em already

In Austria, someone had the bright idea of having those teeny containers of milk, made out of chocolate instead.

Yes, very good idea, until you drop the mini chocolate cup and the milk in your coffee. This is surprisingly easy to do, as chocolate at room temperature has a tendency to lose its structural integrity.

I am sure I just tried one scone, then lowered the oven temperature to cook some beef in Balti sauce. I think Tasha must like scones.

A likely story, though FA has taken to eating left over chilli and lasagne recently, and despite not having tinned food for about 5 years you should hear him when I open a tin of carrots

Right, back to bike fettling

I'm about.
Just had a mug of tea and thinking a bit more about all this course work I have to do for college while finding reason to procrastinate further.

Lunch earlier was a very tasty bit of pig and crackling in bread roll.:hungry:

Chinese take-out has been planned for tonight, not very well up on Chinese food but will try a beef curry I think, with a portion of chips as a side order in case I don't like it
