I'm ill.xx(

I think I have a bit of a cold starting so best keep away from everyone elses tea making stuff for a while.

A jaffa cake would be nice if you can throw one over, Potsy, cheers.

I am going out this evening to a drinks and nibbles party with music and singers, no audience participation, I hope. Yes, I know how to push the boat out on a Saturday night.

My plan of action: one glass of white wine, and a small selection of nibbles. Fortunately I do not like things like sausage roll, quiche, chicken wings, etc, but crisps .... and nuts.... Then the added challenge of "Walking Past the Chip Shop on the Way Home without buying Chips".

Tired now. Enjoying a cup of tea!

Did I hear the word "Chips"? I musn't , I musn't

Oh - well done Arch. Trike I assume? You can have my share of chips if you like - if you are quick enough that is.

Trike indeed. It did mean I picked up some muck from the strip of it down the middle of the roads, and having no front mudguards, one arm got a bit spattered.

Amazingly, we sat outside the cafe for lunch - in February!

I'm actually not hungry enough to make dinner. Hm, maybe a cup a soup.

I think she's eaten all the chips on the way home

How can anybody make 1 glass of wine last this long?

Hoping for a late cancellation for tomorrows ride, doesn't look likely now

No chips on the way home - that is the good news. The "bad" news is that I won a raffle prize. A white cardboard box. With the name of the local baker on it, and with two cakes inside it. A ginger cake, and a lemon madeira cake.

Then I was watching the Danish detective series on BBC4.

You mean there are 2 cakes in there now? How many before you started watching Wally?

If my diet wasn't so strict I could have helped with the cake eating
