I have just had some home-made soup, not ready for tea yet.

I will be baking a sponge cake later.

At the Resource Centre yesterday, I went into the "Inner Sanctum" aka the work room. They have been given lots of remnants of lightweight fabric. It is all being sorted. Big pieces are being labelled with the width, and length. These will be suitable for summer tops or dresses. Smaller pieces are being cut into fat quarters for patchwork. Very small pieces are being cut into triangles ready to be made into bunting for parties or weddings etc. They think they will have a use for the very very small pieces.

Two people have also amended or redesigned a pattern for weaving bags. They are using those lengths of Bagstrapping (like the strapping you see round luggage woven with people's names) to make bags of different sizes. The strapping is very strong and will take a lot of weight. More jazzy webbing or braiding is being used to make small handbags. There is a beautiful one, waiting to be finished, that is a braiding of black, purple and gold, the criss cross effect of the weaving is stunning. That one was not finished or I would have asked if I could buy it.

Potsy - a question for you about a DVD recorder.

Just supposing I decide to record a programme this evening. The lady in the shop showed me how to use the programme planner to tell the machine to record a certain programme.

When I decide I want to watch that programme, a few days later, how do I find the programe again?

Mine has a button on the remote called 'Direct Navigator' press it and a list of all your recorded shows will display on screen, you then just highlight the one you want to watch and press OK.
There'll also be a little thumbnail pic of each recording, this is also where you go to do any editing/deleting of your recordings.

That must deserve an extra piece of cake?

Have been multi-tasking today, washing pots, washing clothes, feeding cats, cycle-chatting all whilst trying to play 'Angry Birds' on my phone. Oh and studying the football form for my gambling habit

Don't know how I manage to fit it all in
